Med Golf Insurance Policy
IMPORTANT INSURANCE CHANGE FOR MED GOLF MEMBERS
We are pleased to confirm that any Med Golf member is insured with Norwich Union for Public Liability and Personal Accident whilst playing any golf course in Europe.
The full benefits are:
PUBLIC LIABILITY
| Limit of indemnity | £2,000,000 |
| Territorial limits | Europe |
PERSONAL ACCIDENT
| Death | £10,000 |
| Full Permanent Disablement | £10,000 |
| Permanent Total Disablement | £10,000 |
| Temporary Total Disablement | £100 per week |
Although worldwide events have changed the attitude of insurers, we are pleased to say we continue to insure our members on the golf course and offer that something extra.
On a general note, we would put out a word of warning to make sure you keep an eye on your golf equipment.
It has been reported to us on more than one occasion that clubs have been stolen from various courses
and under the noses of the owners. You should ensure you keep them in sight prior to playing and secure
them in your boot immediately after finishing your round. You should also check with your insurers to
make sure your golf equipment is covered under your contents policy. This can be included with all
good insurers at minimal cost.
