The Atalaya Park and Golf Hotel is really a holiday resort in itself, appealing especially to sport and nature lovers. It is situated in a quiet location, right on the beach amidst 20 acres of beautiful sub-tropical gardens, and at the same distance between Marbella and Estepona.

Hotel Facilities

The hotel offers superb facilities and a full programme of daily activities as well as two of its own 18 hole championship golf-courses, green fees are great value for resort guests. Transport is free of charge from the Hotel to the Clubhouse. Free beginners classes for golfers at the Hotel's own driving range and putting green including clubs and practice balls. A golf lockers room is available within the Hotel at a small additional charge. There is a crazy golf (suits my game!) course within the Hotel gardens. The resort complex has been totally renovated and consists of two adjoining buildings, Atalaya Sol with 156 rooms, 2 lifts and 3 floors and the Atalaya Torre with 313 rooms, 3 lifts and 7 floors. There are 33 suites available between the two buildings, all other rooms are standard size, carpeted with en-suite bathrooms and a balcony with sea and/or mountain views. All rooms have air-conditioning/central heating, mini-bar, safe (free of charge), digital telephone and TV with 30 channels including pay-per-view videos. The Atalaya Park offers a conference centre with facilities for up to 600 people. Within the resort you will find several bars and lounges, a piano-bar with live music in the evenings, bridge-room, boutique, souvenirs, hairdresser and three restaurants, one of them a la carte. An excellent buffet is available at all meal times, (breakfast 0700 - 1030, lunch 1300 - 1500 and dinner 1900 - 2200), special dietary requirements catered for on request.

Sports Facilities

The Atalaya Park offers you "totally free of charge" most of the excellent sports facilities. These include six pools, two of them are indoor and heated and three are for children. It also has one of the best equipped Nautilus gymnasiums in Southern Spain, three saunas, jacuzzi and turkish bath, classes in aerobics, stretching, step, slide, gym-jazz, taekwondo, gym-swim etc. Archery and mountain bikes with protective helmets are available. Nine tennis courts (three quick and six gravel courts) and one paddle-tennis court. From Monday to Friday free group classes for beginners and advanced players including racquets and balls.

Other sports installations consist of our professional football pitch with showers and dressing-rooms, an athletic field, three volleyball fields, a basketball court and waterpolo. Daily free bridge lessons for beginners during weekdays, daily free rubber bridge and bridge tournaments.

Entertainment

During the whole year, the resort offers special entertainments programmes for the youngsters in the Mini-club as well as a daily activity programme for all resort guests. The Hotel offers a flamenco show once a week, different shows in the evening with our entertainment team. A water-sports centre on the beach offers free use of sunbeds, beach towels, windsurfing boards, catamarans, pedaloes, wet-suits as well as free waterskiing and banana rides.

Other Facilities

All our guests have free entrance to the Casino Marbella in Nueva Andalucia (5 minutes drive). Diving Centre (Barakuda) also rehabilitation centre Regenasol with natural and medical therapies (physiotherapy, thalassotherapy, chiro practice, ozon-oxygen therapy etc). Billiard tables, table-tennis, horse-riding, massage and solarium. Golf school available for those who wish to improve their game or lower their handicaps.

FROM THE EAST (MALAGA):-
Travelling West from Malaga towards Cadiz on the main N-340 Coast road, you pass Torremolinos, Fuengirola, Marbella and Puerto Banus. At around the km 169 mark you will see a sign post to "Benhavis". Turn off the main road here, go to the roundabout then left under the road following signs to the resort on the beach.

FROM THE WEST (GIBRALTAR):-
Travelling West from Gibraltar towards Malaga on the main N-340 Coast road, you pass La Duquesa, Sabanillas and Estepona. At around km 169 mark you will see a sign to "Benhavis". Turn off the main road just before the main "Benhavis" turning following signs to the resort on the beach.
