World Blind Golf Championship
Med Golf member Paul Appleyard has recently returned from Northern Ireland where he competed in the World Blind Championships held at Belvoir Park Golf Club. Paul finished a very creditable joint third, losing out by a mere two shots in a very close contest. Unfortunately, very heavy rain curtailed the final round but Paul can be very proud of his achievement when you consider he called a penalty on himself after his ball moved on the green as he was addressing the ball.
Well done Paul from all of us at Med Golf.
