Los Arqueros prides itself on being the first course designed by Seve Ballesteros and was originally opened in 1991. New owners have subsequently improved the course and further improvements are taking place year by year and the course is increasing in maturity and with a positive attitude.

The course itself is set amongst the Sierra de Ronda and is designed around three lakes. The layout is simply stunning with varied holes and the contrasting landscapes offer magnificent views over the Andalucian hills and Mediterranean. The course also demands accurate play and watch out for the strategically placed trees. It is a very good test for even the most accomplished golfer and there are some very tight holes to negotiate. It is a course where it may be advisable to play irons off the tee for position rather than rely on the big hit. It is relatively short by today's modern standards but the views and layout make up for this. How can you construct a course in such a small area? The thirteenth is such a beautiful hole where you drive from an elevated tee to a drop zone below encompassed by bunkers. Make a par here and you will be extremely happy.

On arrival you will find there is ample parking and a modern clubhouse with lockers and excellent changing facilities.
