Players with the Med Golf Tournament Team

Saturday 27th November saw the culmination of our golfing season, when the winners of our twelve monthly tournaments and our player of the year and best senior, took up their coveted invitations to join us for our prestigious Med Golf Masters, which, as in previous years, was played on the magnificent course at the world famous Valderrama. Also joining them were invited corporate guests and representatives from our 2004 event sponsors, Blue Sky Property Management, Aage Hempel Marine Electronics and Valmar Medical Clinic, who were competing for their own corporate trophy. In all there was a total of 22 golfers and winning the 2004 Med Golf Masters we had George Desoiza with a very creditable score of 32 stableford points on this superb championship course. Winning the corporate event was Nicky Sanchez and it was particularly pleasing to see both George and Nicky win as they are ardent supporters of Med Golf and we don't think Nicky has missed a tournament in over 2 years! Naturally they were both delighted with their wins over some strong opposition.

As in previous years, the day was concluded with a presentation dinner in the Valderrama restaurant where once again our Group Managing Director, Andy Hunter, played up to his audience with a very humorous speech that only Andy can deliver. On a serious note, he did pay tribute to our Masters sponsors who make the season's finale possible and our monthly tournament sponsors who give our members the chance to play Valderrama and make our competitions so popular.
