Sunday 5th November saw the culmination of our 2005/06 "season", when all of our competition winners, player of the year and top senior came together to contest the Masters event, which was sponsored by Aage Hempel Marine Electronics, Blue Sky Management and Aloha Bookies.

As in previous years, we held the season's finale on the championship course at Valderrama, which just a week before hosted the final European Tour event, the Volvo Masters. Also joining the competition winners were invited corporate guests and representatives of the sponsors, who played for their own corporate trophy. In all we had 28 golfers taking part and the winner was Dan Aldridge, closely followed by Tom Parry in second place. Duncan Quigley won the corporate trophy.

Dan and Duncan were presented with their trophies at the Gala Dinner held in the Vaderrama restaurant, where tournament director Mike Goodson paid tribute to all the sponsors who make it possible for us to hold the event at Valderrama.

We are now under way with our competitions for the 2006/07 "season", where once again the winners will receive that coveted invitation for our Masters event in November 2007, which again will be held at Valderrama.
