Description
Sanlucar Club de Campo is situated in a privileged location, in what can only be described as a truly exceptional sanctuary of landscape and bio-climate with an inspired concept that has been made real. Integrated into a prestigious residential estate, it will eventually provide four hotels and high quality sports installations for equestrian activities, tennis and other sports, all of which are located right beside idyllic beaches.

As for the golf course itself, the eighteen hole course was designed by three time Spanish amateur champion, Borja Queipo de Liano and combines elements of the British links, with small and deep bunkers, broad and curving fairways and large open greens. There are parkland elements, seven lakes, an abundance of trees, as well as fast and true greens in perfect condition. Some say the Levante wind, which is particularly common in this part of the coast, is calmer here but this is not always the case!

The design makes the course favourable for players of all levels and the course is demanding but at the same time extremely enjoyable. A great deal of consideration has been given to the integration of the course into the landscape, which gives it a comfortable and attractive feel. A respect for nature has been a fundamental premise in the conception of this project, which includes a novel water supply system of residual and rainwater.

The complex is only 20 kilometres from Jerez, with International airport connections, as well as a national rail network. With the opening of the new motorway from Jerez to Sanlúcar (A-480), it takes only 15-20 mins to get to Sanlúcar from Jerez, and only 1 hour from Sotogrande, taking the new A-381 motorway first. Various marinas are within only a few kilometres distance and the local climate allows you to enjoy golf during the whole year. Montecastillio is not far away, so why not let Med Golf arrange your golfing holiday and tee times in this exciting new golfing province.

The clubhouse provides restaurant, bar and terrace where you can enjoy the scenery after your round. The bar gives you the chance to relax and sample some of the famous "tapas" of Southern Andalucia. The restaurant offers some of the finest cuisine including the legendary king prawns or the highly appreciated wine, "manzanilla".

There are ample changing facilities and practice areas that also cater for the golf schools. The caddie masters will look after you and ensure you have a very enjoyable visit. Sanlucar Golf Club is a new addition to the golfing scene and can be found on a gentle rolling slope facing the Gualdalquivir estuary, next to the Atlantic and the La Doñana nature reserve in Sanlucar de Barrameda, Cadiz. Make sure you play here if you are in the area.
